1) Arrival
[Before you knew it, the world you were in had gone dark. Why or even how wasn't exactly clear, but the moment you wake up, you find that you are not where you were before. Instead there appears to be a small village, but it's dark and the people appear to not be leaving there houses anytime soon. Why weren't they? Perhaps looking around might wield results.]

2) Monster Attack
[Just outside the village creatures appear to be wondering around. If you come too close they will attack. Sharp claws swinging towards whoever crosses there path. Avoid or counter?]

3) What the hell?!
[In the woods, if one were to wonder further enough they would come across a circle and a bunch of cloak people, kneeling down and bowing down toward the center. Whatever was going on it was certainly odd.]

[ Ruby dropped her arms, the immediate distress falling from her features. Her face still showed the tension she felt, but one problem at a time. Granny would have told her to keep her head were she there too.

... hopefully she wasn't. Ruby knew her Granny could handle just about anything, but she didn't want her to be involved in all of this. ]

I don't know. [ She shook her head, brows twisted in confusion. ] Weird stuff is kind of normal for me but this? This is strange on a level not even I'm used to.

[For someone so small, Karrin is very intimidating. Her baby blue eyes never leave red and her gaze suggests that she isn't joking around. She doesn't want to be here, she wants to be back in Chicago, her city.

Karrin Murphy exhales a slow breath and then lowers her gun further. After another second she slips it into her shoulder holster. Her badge shines brightly on her hip reading 'Chicago PD']

Then we're in the same situation. [Used to weird but nothing like this.] Can I ask you a few more questions? I'm trying to get to the bottom of this.

[ And despite someone with the blood of wolves in her veins, Ruby didn't always handle situations with as much courage as she wished she could. There was an unwavering strength in her, unquestionably, but there were times where she got scared just as any other person would.

She feels her racing heart slow once the gun is holstered. The glint of the police badge is hard to miss, but it actually brings her a little bit of comfort. She'd never dealt with actual police officers before, but every sheriff in Storybrooke had been brave and kindhearted. This woman would end up being the same, she hoped. ]

Um, yeah. I don't know how much help I'll be, but I'll try.

[Karrin’s expression softens. While she’s had to claw and force her way through the ranks as a police officer she has a kind heart and she truly wants to help people. That’s what has made this all worth it and while she isn’t in Chicago she isn’t going to stop trying to help.]

That’s all I ask. I’m Detective Sergeant Karrin Murphy. [She doesn’t regret being demoted but she does miss her old position.] I’m used to handling strange cases.
