★ Prompts

1) Arrival
[Before you knew it, the world you were in had gone dark. Why or even how wasn't exactly clear, but the moment you wake up, you find that you are not where you were before. Instead there appears to be a small village, but it's dark and the people appear to not be leaving there houses anytime soon. Why weren't they? Perhaps looking around might wield results.]

2) Monster Attack
[Just outside the village creatures appear to be wondering around. If you come too close they will attack. Sharp claws swinging towards whoever crosses there path. Avoid or counter?]

3) What the hell?!
[In the woods, if one were to wonder further enough they would come across a circle and a bunch of cloak people, kneeling down and bowing down toward the center. Whatever was going on it was certainly odd.]

[The wolf snaps it's jaws, it's eyes narrowing at the shadow it fought. The think limbered in front of him and he launched his body weight forward. His torso and jaw slams into the shadow knocking it away.

The wolf pants softly, clearly looking tired as another shadow took the last ones place. David is used to running and hunting as a wolf but his strength came from his pack. He's alone and he doesn't know how long he can keep it up.

Wounds stitched themselves closed but the wolf looks tired. Too tired to keep fighting the encroaching shadows.]

[Kurogane could sense that none were nearby at least. Knowing that they at least gave something off as living was useful to him. Swod back in it's sleath, he watched the wolf.]

You know if your tired, you should get back to the inn.

[The wolves eyes flick over to Kurogane before a soft huff leaves his lips. He'd be perfectly happy leaving this place however there were more shadows and if he isn't careful they could easily box him in.

David has always felt more comfortable in the forest than in a town though if it's his only option he isn't about to argue. He quickly realizes that he can't really communicate with Kurogane. The man, while clearly formidable, doesn't seem to understand the subtleties of animals and their way of communication.]

[Kurogane was looking off toward the side. He had planned on going back, but he was sure now there was something else further along. So gripping on his sword handle, he had started to head on off towards the opposite direction of where town actually was.]

[David waits for a moment, watching as the strange man walks away. With the last of the shadows dispatched he searches around for his sweatpants which he had hastily tossed to the side.

Shifting is easy and quick and after pulling on the dark blue paints he's running, bare foot, after the guy.]

Hey! Wait up. Why are you going that way?

[Kurogane was not one to look confused, unless of course something was to catch him off guard. This happened to be one of those times. Where the hell did the guy come from? Even more so why was he not wearing shoes?]

Because there is soemthing that way.

[He’s not wearing shoes for two reasons. The first is that he arrived after not sleeping and is still in his pajamas. The second is that he just shifted and getting shoes on, if he had them, takes too long.]

Yes but what?

[David lifts his head, trying to pick up any scents traveling on the wind.]

Isn't it obvious? Whatever the hell those creatures are. There are more out there.

[How he could actually tell is probably a wild guess, or the aura that could be given off. Who knows really.]

Yea but how do you know where or what quantity? They might be pack animals at which wandering towards them alone is just what they want.

[David's seen numbers win against pure strength and this guy doesn't seem the type to always use his head. Not that David does either.]

Numbers are few and far between them. I am not stupid enough to go in unprepared.

[Besides he was pretty sure he could take them. Sure it meant helping out this world, but he was pretty much use to having to help because Syaoran wanted to for one reason or another.]

[David just hums softly. He doesn't sound convinced.]

[He's more interested in answers than just fighting. That and he still hasn't slept.]
