- Post with a character you might want to play here.
- Either use one of the prompts or you can make your own.
- Have fun.
★ Prompts
1) Arrival
[Before you knew it, the world you were in had gone dark. Why or even how wasn't exactly clear, but the moment you wake up, you find that you are not where you were before. Instead there appears to be a small village, but it's dark and the people appear to not be leaving there houses anytime soon. Why weren't they? Perhaps looking around might wield results.]
2) Monster Attack
[Just outside the village creatures appear to be wondering around. If you come too close they will attack. Sharp claws swinging towards whoever crosses there path. Avoid or counter?]
3) What the hell?!
[In the woods, if one were to wonder further enough they would come across a circle and a bunch of cloak people, kneeling down and bowing down toward the center. Whatever was going on it was certainly odd.]
4) Wildcard

Wild Card:
Yeah, those people are crazy.
[Says the guy talking to a tree.]
I am going to go out on a limb here... [See, tree humor.] and assume that's you're name and you aren't trying to name the tree.
[David smiles, he likes to defuse situations with smartass comments. He isn't sure if its working.] I'm David. [He's a loser.]
Wild Card:
[It's spoken in a teasing tone, though. He didn't mind the pun.]
If I was naming a tree, I would have picked something that suggests a towering grandeur like...Thaddeus, or...anything that starts with "the".
[But he offers the guy a friendly smile. He's weird, but not so bad.] Nice to meet you, David. Get kidnapped often?
Wild Card:
[David chuckles softly.]
So Thandor? [He really wants to add 'the magnificent' to the end of that name which only causes his grin to stretch wider.]
I don't make a habit of it, no.
[Comedy aside David isn't comfortable outside of his forest which is probably why he's currently leaning on a tree with no intention to move.]
Wild Card:
[He nods, like that whole explanation wasn't even weird.]
That makes two of us, David. Sort of off-putting, really. I had appointments today.
Wild Card:
That is very true. Sadly, I don't know Elvish. [He sorta wishes he did, that'd be cool.]
I had work. I'm not important enough to have appointments. [Unless fishing counted.]
If you're looking for a where, what, why sort of thing I... have nothing.
[He was concerned about the trees.]
Wild Card:
[Like actually learning Elvish. He shakes his head in disappointment.]
The trees are holding out on you, huh?
Wild Card:
[David wonders if they would teach Elvish at college.]
Yeaaaaaah.
[He brushes his hand behind his head.]
Trees don't talk loudly.
Wild Card:
[A a slight smirk teases at Thomas' lips.]
Maybe you should learn to listen better.
Wild Card:
I am a great listener. You can even ask my sisters.
[Who would probably have mixed responses about that sort of thing.]
Though just because I listen doesn't mean I act on what I hear.
[When it comes to trees he does, people... less so.]
Wild Card:
[I have sisters too, man. I know how they work.]
You know, that doesn't surprise me.
Wild Card:
That's true.
[He stands fully, stretching his arms over head before rolling his shoulders. He's been leaning up against that tree for a while and he needs a good run though he doesn't know this place well enough to go bounding into the woods on four legs.]
Ouch. You don't pull punches do you? Am I that easy to read?
[David knows he is.]
Wild Card:
[Thomas states this like it explains everything else he's observed about David.]
Wild Card:
What? Trees are cool.
[Clearly that's the important part of all of this.]
Wild Card:
[He prefers the city, but you know, whatever floats your boat.]
But I don't think this forest is going to have any answers for us.
Wild Card:
[That doesn't mean David isn't going to search every inch of the forest to see if something comes up. He might be able to tell what had killed it.]
What do you suggest?
Wild Card:
[Or flirting it out of the women. Whatever.]
Wild Card:
[He doesn't know if he can flirt things out of women though. He'll leave that to Thomas.]
